Timber species
Beautiful
Our timbers look and feel like traditional solid hardwood timbers. Each species boasts its own characteristics, and, like any natural wood product, its own beautiful imperfections.
Safe
Our process does not rely on formaldehyde adhesives or other harmful chemicals.
Our timbers are crafted using natural wood and a water-based, non-toxic nano-glue. Our products have been tested for VOCs and are safe to use indoors and outdoors.
Durable
Our timbers have properties that match or exceed those of 100-year-old trees and are fit for a wide range of decorative and structural applications.
Sustainable
We convert low-value, abundant juvenile pulpwood resources — typically destined for woodchips — into premium hardwoods, giving these underutilised resources a new life with unsurpassed value-add.
We only source raw wood material that is FSC® or PEFC™ certified, giving us the assurance that it is obtained from forests that are well cared for and meet rigourous standards for sustainable and ethical forestry practices.

Grain cut options
The angle that a timber plank is cut relative to the centre of the log affects the grain pattern and the look of the final product.
Our quarter-sawn cut produces a timber with a linear grain pattern that is straight and regular whilst our back-sawn cut produces a timber with more pronounced and bold visual patterns.
-
Quarter-Sawn

A modern look with minimal imperfections.
