Blackbutt
Our Blackbutt is a genuine all-rounder, equally at home in a house or a large-scale fit-out.
With a F27 structural rating and a 7.6kN Janka hardness, our Blackbutt is suitable for structural applications and holds up well under heavy foot traffic.
With the right coating and maintenance regime, Blackbutt performs equally well externally as it does internally. It is also rated for use in higher bushfire-risk areas, meeting BAL29 requirements.
Our Blackbutt is covered under our Declare Label, and has earned Living Building Challenge Compliant status. It is also a Best Practice material under GBCA’s Responsible Products Framework.
All raw feedstock is responsibly sourced, backed by PEFC chain of custody, which is available on request.
