All the logic of aluminium. Lower carbon footprint.
Meet ReFramed
ReFramed is an internal glazing system in timber, designed to integrate with standard commercial partitions, walls and door openings. Same kit-of-parts approach your installers know, with a carbon story no metal can match.
Some specification changes ask a lot of a project team.
This one doesn't.
A simple material swap.
A big carbon win.
Internal glazing frames are one of those specification decisions that happens almost automatically. Aluminium is the system everyone knows, so it's what gets specified. No one really questions it. But as decarbonisation shifts from aspiration to a real project constraint, the materials we reach for by default are worth a second look. That's precisely why we designed ReFramed.
Per lineal metre of glazing frame, ReFramed carries a substantially lower embodied carbon footprint than aluminium, including when compared against lower-carbon aluminium supply.
Aluminium is a genuinely useful material, and it earns its place across many applications. Internal glazing frames are simply a case worth reconsidering. The performance requirements sit well within what our material delivers, so the swap is one of the easiest carbon savings on the drawing board.
Your acoustic rating, intact.
In any glazed partition, the glass does the acoustic work. The frame's job is to stay out of the way, and that's where hollow aluminium can let a project down. Air cavities in the profile create resonant flanking paths that pull in-situ performance below the rated glass. It's part of why aluminium partitions are tested as whole systems: with a hollow frame in the mix, you can't assume the assembly performs to the glass alone.
A solid frame removes that risk. Nothing to resonate, nothing to flank. So the partition performs to the glass you specify, not less.
Got a Green Star project on the boards?
If you're chasing Green Star, you already know the hard part isn't ambition, it's finding materials that can keep up with the documentation.
Our timbers come with the credentials already stacked: Chain of Custody certification, a Red List Approved Declare Label, and a verified Product Carbon Footprint (Blackbutt). Together they put our RPV in Best Practice territory across every species, which is where a small share of the fitout can do a lot of the heavy lifting.
Our broader timber range supports five credits across the Green Star Fitout v1 scorecard. ReFramed adds direct relevance to Credit 12 (Responsible partitions) and Credit 27 (Upfront carbon reduction).

Certified forests &
ingredient transparency.
We're particular about where our timber comes from. Every species in the ReFramed range is sourced from FSC® and PEFC certified forests or plantations. If your project requires Chain of Custody certification, please let us know at time of ordering.
All our species are also covered under our Declare Label. Declare is a voluntary self-disclosure program aiming to transform the building materials industry towards healthier and more ecological products through ingredient transparency.
